SE Electric is an electrical company started in New Mexico in May 2002. SE Technical Services is a subsidiary to SE Electric and was formed in 2014 but is presently making its debut in 2015 with Exam Preparation and Continuing Education for the electrical trade. Many think that the “SE” stands for “South East” but you would never guess its real origin. It stands for Sigurd Eriksen who was a Norwegian immigrant who had a heating and electrical business in Brooklyn, NY before WWII. The connection? Sigurd was the father of Grace Marie Eriksen who married John K. Governale. In 1954 they had a son, John C. Governale, who is the founder of SE Electric.
