BUSINESS AND LAW COURSE

We offer a Business and Law course that is taught live at our facility for all candidates who are going to be the Qualifying Party for a contracting license. Business and Law is required for all licenses and is fulfilled by taking an exam or by taking a 16 hour approved course. Our approved course teaches many foundational principles of setting up and running a contracting business. We teach about statutes regarding the construction industry, tax liabilities, employer obligations, insurance and bonding, sales, bidding, estimating, and accounting principles. The instructor has been self employed for more than 30 years and has a wealth of experience to share. We answer questions and have great discussions. We have had many of our students offer extremely valuable information that adds to the learning experience.
